Grease was a hugely successful musical which opened in 1971 ans was followed by a hit film in 1978 which stared Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, the scene is set in 1950's America.

A remake of the musical is set to hit our theatres this summer!
This version is being directed by Kathleen Marshall and produced by David Ian.

There is going to be both a US and British version, with both being produced by David Ian. The leading cast members for the UK version is currently being battled out through ITV hit show, “Grease Is The Word”.

This is the story set in Rydell High School which sees the return of a bunch rebellious and thrill-loving students returning after their summer break, they welcome newcomer to the area Sandy Dumbrowski who has, over the summer months got to know the leader of the T-Birds gang, Danny Zuko. We follow the story as their love affair repairs itself and grows as the rest of the school watches on.

This is the ultimate feel good musical which incorporates a lot of emotion and represents the importance of friendship among other themes.
This will be the hit musical of the year!
