The musical first opened in Liverpool in 1983 and after a hugely successful season here it was moved to Shaftesbury Avenue in London's West End where it has went on to win several awards and reviews have been glowing!It is now one of the longest running musicals in the West End.

It has won three awards for its author / composer and one for its leading actress and singer Barbara Dickson.
Even after being on the stage for so long it continues to draw huge crowds from across the globe!

When it toured the US it held a record breaking run at Broadway, it was hugely successful from coast to coast and was nominated fro six Tony awards!

The musical is based on twin brothers who are separated at birth but through the fate of life they are drawn back together. When their lives become unavoidably linked and her secrecy leads them to a tragic ending!
