Billy Elliott which was developed after the incredible hit film of the same name hosts music by the magnificent Sir Elton John has been showing at London's Victoria Palace Theatre since March 2005.

Billy Elliott – the musical, tells the story of a young boy growing up in a Tyneside town whose mother is dead, while his father and brother are caught in a miner's strike, a difficult time where both are out of work but Billy's father maintains sending him to boxing classes, but instead Billy is spending the money on Ballet lessons.
As Billy's family find out he is subject to abuse over his love for dancing and his determination builds as he realises he must succeed in his dance to win back the approval of his father.

The musical is depicting the sheer passion and shows the ceaseless struggle of Billy, and the continuation of this once his family finds out what he has really been doing!
